Classification of Neon Tube

  1. According to specifications
Can be divided into 5mm; 6mm; 7mm; 8mm; 9mm; 10mm; 10mm; 11mm; 12mm; 15mm; 20mm;

  1. Divided by glass material
  1. Sodium glass tube (also known as lime material): This glass tube has poor stability, is easily deteriorated and weathered after being damp, and has poor hardness and easily burst; currently about 80% of my country uses this material;
  2. Lead glass tube (also known as red lead material): This glass has better thermal properties, mechanical properties, electrical properties, chemical stability, vacuum properties and optical properties than sodium glass, and its weather resistance and service life greatly exceed that of sodium. Glass, most commonly used in the world at present, this kind of glass is commonly used in the world. At present, my country uses about 20%~30%. All manufacturers and users who pursue high-quality use lead glass tubes to make neon lights. Lead glass can be divided by the amount of lead. For: high-lead glass, medium-lead glass, low-lead glass;
  3. Colored glass tube: This glass tube has been filled with dye when drawing the lamp tube, and the produced glass is colored. It is usually used to make neon lights and has good colors during the day.

  1. Divided by phosphor material in the tube
  1. Ordinary phosphors: most of the neon tubes currently in use are sprayed with "ordinary phosphors", which are relatively cheap and can also meet various color requirements;
  2. Three primary color phosphors (also called rare earth phosphors): Compared with ordinary phosphors, its brightness, chromaticity and vividness are better.

  1. According to the process of spraying phosphor
  1. Water-coated powder tube: Water-coated with alcohol and ketone solution mixed phosphor powder sprayed on the inner wall of the lamp tube, and let it dry naturally;
  2. Glue coating powder tube: Glue coating is sprayed with glue liquid mixed with fluorescent powder, and then dried in an oven, its viscosity and fastness are much better than water coating powder tube. At present, most advanced countries use three-color glue-coated leaded glass tubes to make neon lights, and some manufacturers in my country currently use this kind of neon tube.
